Winter Sports (JISP)

Winter won't get us down!

Every year, students at JVS have the opportunity to ski or ride at Stratton Mountain. They spend the WHOLE afternoon every Tuesday from January to March learning, playing and sliding on snow! It's a great way to enjoy our beautiful area and try out a winter sport that keeps our students happy and active during the colder, darker months. JISP is available to all JVS students and homeschooled children (living in Jamaica).

All students are eligible for a VERY discounted pass (see sign up below) that includes eight Tuesday afternoons and 10 full free-ski/ride Sundays. Instructors/on-snow chaperones will be provided on Tuesdays.

Cost is $63 for 18 (possible) days of skiing/riding. Rentals are $10 per visit or $150 for the season. Reduced daily rental rates are not available on Sundays.
