K/1/2

The K/1/2 curriculum is based off of the VT Common Core State Standards.

For English Language Arts, we focus on phonological awareness using the Heggerty and 95th% programs. We also use Fundations to learn letter writing and sounds, which leads to our decodable reading program. For writing, we use the Lucy Calkins approach, as well as Keys to Literacy.

For math, we use Engage New York, supplemented by research based math games. Our curriculum consists of number sense, geometry and measurement, addition and subtraction, place value, addition and subtraction, numbers to 120, time and money.

Our program uses the Next Generation Science Standards for science and Grade Level Expectations for social studies, to guide the curriculums.
